Middletown police caught a South Carolina man driving a stolen van Sunday night after employees at Rite Aid on Central Avenue reported him shoplifting a pair of reading glasses from the pharmacy.
Larry Jackson, 49, was arraigned Monday in Middletown Municipal Court for grand theft, petty theft, open flask, driving under suspension, failure to drive within marked lanes and failure to comply with a police order.
